Accessorize bargain bag

I recently went to an accessorize store where I noticed a sale in the corner of the shop. This included reduced prices for 'faulty items'.  I picked up a very nice bag that looked new and intact. When I read the label it said there was a fault on the zip. The zip was generally not working at all when me and my mum tried to fix it. The staff even told us that its 'non refundable and it doesn't work'

I still insisted on buying the bag. It was only £5 so I wasn't losing much. When I went home to try out the bag we managed to somehow 'fix' it. There was just a bit of material clogging the way. Well, That was a surprise!

This just shows that I was able to but a perfectly functioning bag that was worth £40 for £5 :) This just shows that it's possible to buy a nice quality bag for a cheaper price!

Bio-oil Product Review

Hi everyone,

A couple of months ago I received a scar on my arm which looked horrible. It was larger than the size of a 50p coin and very dark. I wanted to remove it and tried many different products like cocoa butter that are used to reduce scaring. However, none of them seemed to work.

Next Step: Bio-Oil To the Rescue!

I was then recommended to try Bio oil and that's probably one of the best advice given to me! I used it every night after I had a shower or before I went to sleep for a few months and now my scar has now faded and the skin tone is blended.  I would of posted a picture but silly me I didn't think of taking a picture at the time. At first I honestly didn't think it would work. This was because there are many products out on the market available for use. This product does require patience and scars don't disappear over night. But after using it for 2 months I noticed the difference. I carried on using it until my scar faded away.

Not only does this product work but the oil also smells great. It's texture is the quiet light and it doesn't stain. It also has other great uses like improving stretch marks, aging skin and dehydrated skin.

The bottle says use it twice a day. I simply didn't have the time due to school rushes and getting ready in the morning. I think if I did use it twice the scar would have faded in less time. I use bio-oil now for uneven skin tones and sometimes on my face after a cleanser.

Overall, I would recommend this product and have already purchased it again from Amazon. (simply because the price is below retail price)

Hope you enjoyed reading!

Game review: Covet fashion

Hi everyone,
So I have now downloaded Covet for a month and am able to review the game for you.
I will honestly have to say, if you love fashion and styling then this game is for you. I love all the styling features and having the ability to style my own outfits.

Covet has lots of limited events with stop clock timers counting down the seconds till an event closes. It that time you have to be able to style a outfit for that occasion. Jet set events are not timed and can be played at any moment.

Your outfit is rated by other users and results can be seen after voting finishes. Highly scored outfits win rewards like clothing's. Your outfits can be scored higher with bonuses such as purchasing unworn clothes or wearing the latest season outfits.

The game is addictive and can be frustrating at times. This is because you can play for free for a while but then it becomes hard to actually style outfits accordingly for events. You therefore have an advantage of playing if you purchase in app 'diamonds'.  (Especially for bonuses for higher ratings) If you don't mind this then the game will suit your needs. Also bear in mind that you do have to wait for your outfit to be rated which means if your short on patience then this is not ideal! E.g. jet set events have 8 hour wait for results but limited time events can be very long as 3 days.

This is a game based on preference. So I hope you have found this mini review helpful.

My tips:
  • My first try went totally horrible. That's okay as long as you fiddle and play around the mixture you will find the right size. Just keep experimenting!
  • They are best eaten WARM!, If they cool, then reheat in the microwave.

Enjoy :)

Biology microscope pictures

Over a few lessons in biology I have been able to take a few photographs from a microscope.  This was difficult at first but I need a steady hand so so the pictures didn't blur.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

Hello,

I was introduced to Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish at an early age, before I was even born actually! My mum loves this product and is a loyal customer for 19 years.  But I have never started using it till I hit the teen road. I became much more committed to a daily facial routine at the age of 15 and now I absolutely adore this product.

This is part of my daily facial routine. It is very quick to use and the texture is so soft and creamy. First I rub the Cleanser all over my face I then rinse a cloth with warm water and then polish the cream off my face. I repeat this procedure and then splash cold water on my face. I can honestly say that my skin feels less oily, much softer and cleaner.

Surprisingly, my mum even used this product as a paint remover! It all goes back to me and my brother who were naughty little kids. We started playing with paint while it was left outside as everyone in the house was unpacking. My mum then released we were covered in paint and tried scrubbing us to near death! Nothing seemed to work until she reluctantly used this beloved product and It worked miracles. The only disappointment was that she ran out and had to order more. This can be pricy!

I would definitely urge you to buy this product. Not only do I feel refreshed and squeaky clean but also the product is made of natural ingredients which is better for skin health.

Its winter and the clocks have moved back!

It's officially winter and the clock moved back. Unfortunately I was unlucky as I wasn't able to cash in on the extra hour of sleep. I managed to oversleep. This was because I put my phone time an hour back and didn't release it would automatically do this. So two hours of extra sleep instead of one .... I ended up waking much later than I intended. :( I also now have a headache from waking up with noisy neighbours. (Yes I can hear you)

So why do the clocks move backwards in the winter?

The clocks go back to the UK's Greenwich mean time, returning to its original position from when the clocks went forward.

So why do the clocks move an hour forward in summer?

This is British summer time which allows for longer daylight evenings. It balances daylight so that there is less daylight in the early hours of the morning.

Are there any benefits to this?

Well many people argue that there are health and economic benefits such as saving energy and to road accidents. However, there is an ongoing debate to if this will be the last time change from the UK MPs.

An easy way I remember when the clocks move is 'spring forward, fall back'. :)

How I..... Revise?

The word REVISION sparks many ideas in our minds. So I have created this post to share how I revise and my tips. (currently based on a levels)

  • Make notes from a text book after each lesson so that you understand the topic more.
  • Create revision cards, posters or leaflets and condense your notes smaller.
  • Look at videos online and revision guides.
  • Look at the specification as a checklist and tick off every topic once you understand/revised
  • Attempt PAST PAPERS! (do everyone if you can)
  • Use lots of Colour
  • Have breaks at least every hour!
  • Set yourself 'mini goals' that are realistic. Once they are achieved then you can have a small treat. I sometimes do this and end up eating some chocolate.
  • If you lack the motivation then think of a long term benefit. Where do you see yourself in the future? What do you need to achieve to be there? (It could be your conditional offer grades)
  • Try not to stress! Just try your best and then you can just leave the rest.

Thanks for reading and I hope it helps! :)
